Return Policy

You have 14 days from the date of delivery for your return to be received by us.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to approved returns that are not the result of a product defect, shipping damage, or an error on our part.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged, defective, or we shipped the wrong product.

Returned items must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. Returns that arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging may be denied or subject to additional deductions from the refund amount.

Window Film Returns

Window film may be returned only if it is in original, unused condition and in its original packaging.

Due to the nature of window film products, we recommend inspecting your order before removing any packaging, release liners, or protective materials.

Any window film that has been modified in any way is not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cut or trimmed film
  • Film that has been installed or partially installed
  • Film that has been test-fitted
  • Film that has been altered, damaged, or otherwise modified after delivery

Opened rolls may be returned provided the film remains unmodified, unused, and in its original packaging.

Precut window tint and paint protection film kits may be returned if they are unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original condition.

Returns must be approved before being shipped back. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Damages and Order Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Returns resulting from defective products, shipping damage, or incorrect items shipped by Dr. Solar are not subject to a restocking fee.

If we shipped the wrong product, we will cover the cost of return shipping and any necessary replacement shipment.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Any window film that has been cut, installed, altered, or otherwise modified
  • Any item returned without original packaging
  • Any item returned in used condition

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the desired product.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method, less any applicable restocking fees or deductions, within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
